• <br />• <br />• <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 02 -17 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT — LAKE <br />DRIVE/APOLLO DRIVE IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT. <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the construction of the Lake Drive /Apollo <br />Improvements project, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids <br />were received complying with the advertisement: <br />Contractor Amount of Bid <br />Forest Lake Contracting $1,509,275.30 <br />Palda & Sons $1,531,047.40 <br />Dresel Contracting $1,614,531.81 <br />Ingram Excavating $1,622,777.11 <br />Harddrives, Inc. $1,639,990.49 <br />Arnt Construction $1,654,442.33 <br />Park Construction $1,671,604.50 <br />Tower Asphalt $1,692,698.69 <br />Northwest Asphalt $1,722,156.19 <br />Eureka Construction $1,734,593.40 <br />Glenn Rehbein Excavating $1,743,304.93 <br />F.M. Frattalone $1,766,248.35 <br />Engineer's Estimate $1,680,395.75 <br />AND WHEREAS, it appears that Forest Lake Contracting, Inc., is the lowest responsible bidder; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LINO LAKES, <br />MINNESOTA: <br />1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Forest Lake <br />Contracting, Inc., in the name of the City of Lino Lakes for the construction of the Lake Drive /Apollo <br />Drive Improvements according to the plans and specifications approved by the City Council and on file <br />in the office of the City Clerk. <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made <br />with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be <br />retained until a contract has been signed. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 11th day of March 2002. <br />Ann J.
