AGENDA ITEM 7H <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Marty Asleson <br />DATE: October 14, 2002 <br />TOPIC: Consider Resolution No. 02 -147 Accepting Bid for Boulevard Trees <br />in New Developments <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The City of Lino Lakes Escrows dollars for the planting of one tree on the <br />boulevard of each new home frontage in developments. A bid was sent out to <br />several landscape companies requesting service to supply and plant these trees. <br />Three bids were received. The low bid total submitted by Mickman Brothers Inc. <br />came to $37,900. This figure meets the escrow budget. <br />OPTIONS: <br />1. Accept the bid from Mickman Brothers Inc. and approve Resolution No. 02- <br />147 <br />2. Do not accept the bid. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Option 1. <br />
