• <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 02 -165 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING EXPENDITURES OF $26,411 FOR MOLD <br />REMEDIATION IN EARLY CHILDHOOD CENTER <br />WHEREAS, mold is present in the Civic Center Complex, and <br />WHEREAS, staff and consultants have conducted research to locate the source of the <br />problems and identify solutions, and <br />WHEREAS, equipment has been purchased and installed to prevent future mold <br />problem, and <br />WHEREAS, contaminated areas need to be cleaned by qualified contractors, and <br />• WHEREAS, the City engaged the Institute for Environmental Assessment to obtain <br />quotes from qualified contractors and supervise the work of the selected contractor, and <br />• <br />WHEREAS, work has performed in the Early Childhood Center, and invoices received <br />in the amount of $26,411.00, and <br />WHEREAS, the funding source for these proposed improvements would be the Capital <br />Improvement Fund (401); <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Lino <br />Lakes authorizes and approves the expenditure of $26,411.00 for mold remediation in the <br />Early Childhood Center portion of the Civic Complex and designating the Capital <br />Improvement Fund (401) as the funding source. <br />Approved by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 28TH day of October, 2002. <br />ATTEST: <br />Ann J.
