• <br />• <br />• <br />MEMO <br />TO: Mayor and City Council <br />FROM: Mary Kay Wyland <br />DATE: February 11, 2000 <br />SUBJECT: Council Agenda Item 6.B. <br />First Reading, Ordinance No. 02 -2000, Amend Zoning Ordinance <br />to add Exterior Storage as a Conditional Use in the LI, Light <br />Industrial Zoning District. <br />Following the 2 -9 -00 Council Work Session discussion staff would propose the following <br />amendment to Ordinance No. 02 -2000. <br />a. The storage area is landscaped and screened from view of neighboring uses, <br />residential zoning districts and public rights of way per Sec. 3, Subd. 4.S. of the <br />Zoning Ordinance. The storage area shall be screened 100% from residential <br />properties. <br />Should the Council adopt this Ordinance as amended, Staff will prepare a revised <br />Ordinance for the Second Reading, scheduled for 2- 28 -00. <br />
