Council Member <br />introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 00-23 <br />A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATION FROM THE CIRCLE -LEX VFW, <br />POST NO. 6583 <br />WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes City Council has established the Dedicated Parks Fund to <br />receive all donations from developers and other interested citizens and <br />organizations, and <br />WHEREAS, the Dedicated Parks Fund is used to fund park development and park land <br />acquisition, and <br />WHEREAS, the Circle -Lex VFW, Post 6583 has donated $3300 throughout 1999 to be <br />used for park development, and <br />WHEREAS, the monies will be appropriated to the dedicated park fund in the following <br />manner: <br />Increase Revenue — Contributions $3,600.00 <br />Increase Expenditures: <br />Dedicated park Funds $3,600.00 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes <br />hereby accepts the donation of $3,600.00 for the dedication Parks fund and wishes to <br />express its sincere gratitude and appreciation to the Circle -Lex VFW, Post 6583 for its <br />donation. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council on this 28th day of February 2000. <br />John Bergeson, Mayor <br />Ry -Chel Gaustad, CMC Clerk- Treasurer <br />RESOLUTION NO. 00-23 <br />Page -2- <br />
