City is currently using Anoka County's ordinance. Staff will be asking council to <br />reconsider adopting a city ordinance. <br />2. City has encouraged native plantings. Now there is a need to develop effective <br />guidelines for maintaining native plantings and a plan to coordinate public and private <br />efforts to establish native plantings. <br />3. Research on how to accomplish preservation development is ongoing. Additional <br />funds will support development of a project review process and incorporation of that <br />process into existing city ordinances. <br />4. Various improvements will make parks and trails more accessible to persons with <br />disabilities. <br />
