PARK BOARD <br />STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA ITEM 7.B. <br /> <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Rick DeGardner, Public Services Director <br /> <br />MEETING DATE April 28, 2026 <br /> <br />AGENDA ITEM: Review and Discuss Shenandoah Park Playground Project <br /> <br />INTRODUCTION <br />During the March, 2026 Park Board meeting, some members expressed interest in considering <br />various components such as imaginary play elements, shade sails, rubber mats, etc. for future <br />playground projects. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND <br />Bill Johnson, President of Northland Recreation will attend the April 28 Park Board meeting to <br />discuss and review some concept plans for the Shenandoah Playground project that is <br />scheduled for installation in the Fall of 2026. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION / REQUESTED DIRECTION <br />For informational purposes only. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS <br />None <br /> <br />Page 8 of 8
