• <br />• <br />• <br />Council Member <br />adoption. <br />introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 00 -25 <br />A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATION FROM THE LINO LAKES LIONS CLUB <br />WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes Lions Club supports the Lino Lakes Parks and Recreation <br />Department and: <br />WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes Parks and Recreation Department is holding its fifth Kite Day on <br />June 3, 2000; and <br />WHEREAS, the event is free to the families of Lino Lakes; and <br />WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes Lions Club was made aware of the event and the desire of the Lino <br />Lakes Parks and Recreation Department to conduct Kite Day with the support of a program <br />sponsor and has donated $300.00 to the City to defer the cost of this event. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes, the <br />Council accepts the Lino Lakes Lions Club donation of $300.00 to help finance Kite Day and <br />wishes to express its sincere gratitude and appreciation to the Lino Lakes Lions Club for its <br />donation. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 13th day of March, 2000. <br />John Bergeson, Mayor <br />Ry -Chel Gaustad, Clerk- Treasurer <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council Member <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />The following against same: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />sw /rick/Resolution 00 -25 Lions Kite Day Donation.doc <br />
