The Law <br />Enforcement agencies would like to extend this records <br />system to include access of the records to law enforcement <br />officers from their police cars. <br />The Anoka County Attorney's Office has completed the <br />necessary paperwork for a grant request to provide 50% <br />funding for the research and implementation of a system to <br />transmit the information to the police cars. <br />The attached resolution is to support the grant application <br />of the Anoka County Joint Law Enforcement Council for a <br />grant to provide access to police records from squad cars. <br />OPTIONS <br />1. Approve resolution in support of grant application. <br />2. Return to staff for further consideration. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />1. Approve and sign. <br />
