SA <br />Rick DeGardner, Public Services Director <br />March 27, 2000 <br />Consideration of Resolution 00 -34, Accepting <br />Mountain Enterprises Donation for Kite Day <br />Vote Required: Simple Majority <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The Lino Lakes Parks and Recreation Department will be holding its fifth Kite Day event <br />on Saturday, June 3, 2000, at Rice Lake Elementary School. This event is free to <br />children in the Quad City area. It is great fun to see the children and their families <br />assemble the kites and fly them. <br />In previous years the kites were donated to the Lino Lakes Parks and Recreation <br />Department by a vendor. This year the department has received a donation from <br />Mountain Enterprises and the Lino Lakes Lions Club. <br />Mountain Enterprises has donated $250 to help defer the cost of this event and to see <br />that every child has the potential of receiving a kite. <br />OPTIONS: <br />1. Accept donation from Mountain Enterprises and approve Resolution 00 -34. <br />2.
