Vana <br />Investigations LLPD <br />Date: 06/06/00 <br />Re: Liquor Licenses <br />have reviewed the liquor license requests on the following: <br />1. VFW I have conducted criminal checks on and contact checks on the business and license <br />holders. I have discovered no information to deny license renewal. <br />2. OASIS MARKET I have conducted criminal and contact checks on the Oasis Market, 7509 <br />Lake Dr. I have discovered no information to deny license renewal. <br />3. J &K LIQUOR I have conducted criminal and contact checks on the business and license <br />holders. During compliance checks on 11 -23 -99 the business sold to a minor with an <br />undercover officer as a witness. The business was wamed for the violation. In March 2000, a <br />compliance check was conducted again and the business passed. I have discovered no <br />further information to deny license renewal. <br />4. LAKES LIQUOR I have conducted criminal and contact checks on the business and license <br />holder. Criminal contacts have been made with Mr. Arhip with the Lino Lakes Police <br />Department however none relating to alcohol. The business did fail a compliance check in <br />November of 1999 to which an underage buyer purchased alcohol in the presence of an <br />undercover officer. The business was wamed for the violation. In March 2000, a compliance <br />check was conducted again and the business passed. <br />5. CHOMONIX GOLF COURSE I have conducted criminal and contact checks on the <br />business. At this time, I have discovered no further information to deny license renewal. <br />Page 1 <br />
