• <br />Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 00 -33 <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF STUDY FOR THE BLUEBILL PONDS <br />UTILITY AND STREET IMPROVEMENTS AND THE MAIN STREET TRUNK UTILITY <br />IMPROVEMENTS <br />WHEREAS, in response to a petition from property owners located on the south side of <br />Main Street in an area proposed to be platted into the Bluebill Ponds subdivision, it is <br />proposed to improve the Northeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 8 by <br />constructing utility and street improvements, and <br />WHEREAS, in response to a petition from these same property owners, it is proposed to <br />improve Main Street from Nancy Drive to Wood Duck Trail by constructing trunk sanitary <br />sewer and watermain improvements, and <br />WHEREAS, the City proposes to assess the benefited property for all or a portion of the <br />cost of the improvement, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, and Chapter 8 <br />of the Lino Lakes City Charter. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1. That the proposed improvements be referred to the City Engineer for study and <br />that he is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising <br />the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvements are <br />feasible and as to whether they should best be made as proposed or in <br />connection with some other improvement, and the estimated cost of the <br />improvements as recommended. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 12th day of June, 2000. <br />John J.
