• <br />• <br />• <br />Council Member introduced the following resolution <br />and moved its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO.2000 -76 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATION FROM RESIDENT BART VOLKMANN OF TWO <br />CELLULAR TELEPHONES <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br />WHEREAS, <br />the Lino Lakes Police Department equips patrol squad <br />cars with a cellular phone; and <br />police department personnel utilize cellular phones in <br />non - patrol functions; and <br />funding for additional cellular phones was not part of <br />the 2000 Department of Public Safety budget; and <br />resident, Bart Volkmann annually updates his personal <br />cellular phone, and asked whether the police department <br />would have a use for these cellular phones; and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Lino Lakes <br />hereby accepts the cellular phones and wishes to express its <br />gratitude to Bart Volkmann for his donation. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 14th day of August, <br />2000. <br />John Bergeson, Mayor <br />Ry -Chel Gaustad /IGMC, City Clerk- Treasurer <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Council Member and upon vote being <br />taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />The following voted against same: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
