Planning & Zoning Board <br />August 9, 2000 <br />Page 11 <br />Mr. Powell stated the trees and landscaping of the berm is beyond the scope of the <br />Conditional Use Permit under consideration. However, that can be addressed during <br />consideration of the individual site plans. <br />Ms. Lane made a MOTION to close the public hearing at 8:19 p.m., and was supported <br />by Mr. Corson. Motion carried 6 -0. <br />Ms. Lane asked about the comment of Mr. Johnson pertaining to rock and woodchips. <br />Mr. Powell stated the City received a submittal after the meeting information had been <br />sent so that condition may have been satisfied. <br />Ms. Lane made a MOTION to approve the request of G.M. Development (Gary Uhde) for <br />a Conditional Use Permit to develop an area known as the Apollo Business Center <br />located east of Jon Avenue, between the 74th Street alignment and I -35W, with the <br />following conditions: <br />1. A rock construction entrance must be included for erosion control. Location and a <br />detail are needed. <br />2. The permit must be acquired from the Ric Watershed District. <br />3. Any grading activity, including any hau ' of m ials, is restricted to the City's <br />allowed working hours as follows: <br />Monday- Friday 7:0 . to 7:00 p.m. <br />Saturday . to 5:00 p.m. <br />Sundays/Holidays working hours allowed <br />4. Provide a schedule, includi' . e e n dates, for proposed grading. Interim <br />completion dates can be us e development sites. <br />5. A Letter of Credit wil running to the City equal to 150% of the <br />construction cost. <br />6. An escrow deposit to r e the City for the cost of periodic site visits would <br />be required. <br />7. Any work in the right -of -way requires approval from Anoka County. <br />The motion was supported by Mr. Rafferty. Motion carried 6 -0. <br />D. PUBLIC HEARING, (Continuation), Twin City Fabrication, 295 Apollo <br />Drive, Site Plan Review and Conditional Use Permit <br />This item was considered earlier in the meeting. <br />E. PUBLIC HEARING, (Continuation) Marmon Keystone, 265 Apollo Drive, <br />Site Plan Review and Conditional Use Permit <br />Chair Schaps declared the public hearing reopened at 8:23 p.m. <br />Staff presented the application by Marmon Keystone for Site Plan Review and <br />Conditional Use Permit. The Planning & Zoning Board considered the project at the July <br />12, 2000 meeting and continued the public hearing for the CUP. The business processes <br />
