PUBLIC HEARING to consider a rezone of property located at 7880 Sunset <br />Avenue (PID #07 -31 -22 -23 -0004) from R -Rural to PUD -Planned Unit <br />Development and an Amendment to the Development Stage Plan/Preliminary <br />Plat of Century Farm North to expand project boundary and include certain <br />property located at 7880 Sunset Avenue <br /> <br />K atie Larsen, City Planner, recommended continuing the Public Hearing as staff is <br />awaiting revised plans from the applicant . <br /> <br />Mr. Hyden ma de a MOTION at 6 :32 p.m. to c ontinue the Public Hearing to the next <br />meeting. Motion was supported by Mr. Evenson . Motion carried 4 - 0. (Tralle <br />abstained.) <br /> <br /> <br />B. Consider a Variance to allow for a second driveway to be located at 2235 <br />Arthur Court <br /> <br />K atie Lar sen, City Planner, presented the staff report. <br /> <br />Staff answered questions of the board. <br /> <br />Staff noted that the applicant reduced the area to be vacated per the city engineer’s <br />recommendations. <br /> <br />Wayne Kelly, 2235 Arthur Court, Lino Lakes was present for quest ions. <br /> <br />Mr. Nelson made a MOTION to recommend approval of a variance at 2235 Arthur Court <br />to allow for a second driveway based on the findings as listed in the staff report and <br />subject to the following conditions: <br /> <br />1. All comments from the City Engineer’s Lett er dated August 5, 2013 shall be <br />addressed. <br />2. The accessory building shall meet the general building and use provisions of Section <br />3, Subd. 4. <br />3. A building permit shall be submitted by the applicant and approved by the City prior <br />to construction. <br />4. The driveway shall be paved with appropriate surface. <br />5. The survey submitted by E.G. Rud and Sons shall be revised to include: <br />a. Existing impervious surface calculations. <br />b. Proposed impervious surface calculations. <br />c. Location and width of driveway. <br />6. The accessory building and d riveway should be located to maximize tree preservation <br />to the greatest extent possible. <br />
