OPEN MIKE <br /> <br />Chair Tralle declared O pen M ike at 6:35 p.m . <br /> <br />There w as no one present for Open Mike. <br /> <br />Mr. Hyden made a MOTION to close Open Mike at 6:36 p.m. Motion was supported by <br />Mr. Evenson. Motion carried 6 -0. <br /> <br />V I . ACTION ITEMS <br /> <br />A. Conditional Use Permit to allow for grading and e arth removal at 6221 Holly <br />Drive <br /> <br />Paul Bengtson , Associate Planner, presented the staff report. Staff recommended <br />approval of the Conditional Use Permit with conditi ons as listed in the staff report . <br /> <br />Staff addressed questions of the board. <br /> <br />Board members discussed details of the earth moving project including times, trips and <br />duration of project. It was encouraged that the applicant should hold a neighborhood <br />meetin g with the residents of Trapper’s Crossing. <br /> <br />Applicant, John Palmer, Encompass Digital Media, 6221 Holly Dri ve, was present for <br />questions. <br /> <br />Resident Mark Payette, 6266 Holly Drive, commented that the satellite farm has been a <br />good neighbor. He added that the neighboring property owners appreciated receiving a <br />mailed letter from the applicant with details of the proposed project. <br /> <br />Mr. Hyden made a MOTION to recommend approval of the Conditional Use Permit to <br />allow for grading and ea rth removal at 6221 Holly Drive, including an amendment to add <br />Condition 13, placing signs to designate truck hauling to the north and south. <br /> <br />Motion was supported by Mr. Masonick . Motion carried 6 - 0 . <br /> <br />B. PUBLIC HEARING to consider Amending Section 7 of the Zoning Ordinance <br />which includes requirements for Business Districts <br /> <br />Paul Bengtson presented the staff report. Staff recommended opening and tabling the <br />public hearing to discuss at a future date. <br /> <br />Staff addressed questions of the board. <br />
