Staff recommended approval <br />of the request based on the conditions listed in th e staff report. <br /> <br />Staff explained that the existing Conditional Use P ermit for the property is specific to a <br />portion of the building. <br /> <br />Mr. Studenski explained the location of utilities i n the area. The city’s plan is that <br />utilities for the site will someday connect from th e north. <br /> <br />Staff noted that there is not much opportunity for additional landscaping on the site and <br />that all non-landscaped areas must be paved. <br /> <br />Dean Quimby, 335 Thomas St. owner of Don’s Circle S ervice at 7319 Lake Dr., and <br />Tony Perkins, owner of the Boarhouse, were present for questions. They stated that they <br />will be receptive to any complaints that may arise. They have been in business for a long <br />time and intend to keep people satisfied. <br /> <br />Chair Tralle opened the Public Hearing at 7 :02 p.m. <br /> <br />No one was present to speak. <br /> <br />Mr. Laden made a MOTION to close the Public Hearing at 7:03 p.m. Motion was <br />supported by Mr. Pogalz. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> <br />Mr. Pogalz made a MOTION to recommend approval of a Conditional Use Permit to <br />allow automobile and truck repair and accessory ind oor retail sales at 7317 Lake Drive, <br />subject to the following conditions of approval: <br /> <br />1. The Conditions associated with both Automobile/Truc k Repair and Accessory <br />Retail Sales shall be attached to the approval of t he Conditional Use Permits and must <br />be complied with at all times. <br /> <br />2. The comments made by the City Engineer shall be add ressed prior to the City <br />Council consideration of this request. <br /> <br />3. The paving and curb required on the rear of the lot shall be completed by June 1, <br />2010, and appropriate financial securities shall be submitted to the city to guarantee that <br />the work is completed. <br /> <br />4. Hours of Operation for this use shall be limited to 7am – 7pm Monday through <br />Saturday and 9am – 5pm on Sunday. <br /> <br />5. All repair or installation work shall be completed inside the building with all <br />doors closed to limit impacts on the surrounding ar ea. <br /> <br /> <br />
