• <br />Council member introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 00 -82 <br />RESOLUTION SETTING DATES FOR THE TRUTH IN TAXATION HEARINGS FOR THE <br />PROPOSED 2001 OPERATING BUDGET AND 2000 TAX LEVY COLLECTIBLE IN 2001. <br />WHEREAS, government entities are required to hold Truth in Taxation hearings to receive public <br />input on the proposed operating budget and tax levy; and, <br />WHEREAS, cities may not hold their hearings on the same dates as Counties and School <br />Districts; and, <br />WHEREAS, the first two Mondays in December have been set aside exclusively for cities to hold <br />their Truth in Taxation Hearings; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of Lino Lakes wishes to set their Truth in Taxation Hearings on <br />these exclusive dates. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Lino Lakes, Anoka County, Minnesota, that: <br />1. The initial Truth in Taxation hearing date is hereby set for Monday, December 4, 2000, at <br />6:00 p.m.. <br />2.
