MEETING DATE: <br />TOPIC: <br />ACTION REQUIRED: <br />BACKGROUND <br />AGENDA ITEM 7 E <br />Jeff Smyser <br />September 25, 2000 <br />Site & Building Plan Review <br />Deer Meadows Golf Range <br />407 Main St. <br />3/5 vote <br />The application includes a site and building plan review for a small addition to the <br />existing building at the Deer Meadows Golf Range. <br />This review is based on the following submittals, all received 8/21/00: <br />Letter describing project <br />Existing Floor Plan <br />West View Elevation <br />ANALYSIS <br />1/4 section detail <br />Proposed Floor Plan <br />North View Elevation <br />The site is in the Rural zoning district. The building addition will not extend the building <br />any closer to any lot lines where setbacks would be an issue. Minimum lot dimensions <br />are not issues with this project because the lot is over 60 acres. <br />• Building <br />The addition will be 12' x 30', built on the north side of the building. The existing <br />building footprint is approximately 720 sf. The addition will add 360 sf for a total of <br />1080 sf. The addition will be slightly higher than the existing building, but well below <br />the 35 ft. maximum height. The exterior of the main building is masonite siding and the <br />addition will match it. <br />• Lighting <br />No additional exterior lighting will be added as part of this project. <br />• Signage <br />Signage is governed by the City's sign ordinance and permits are required for all signs. <br />Any signs will be reviewed with sign permit applications. <br />
