• <br />• <br />• <br />AGENDA ITEM 7J <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: John Powell, City Engineer <br />COUNCIL MEETING DATE: November 13, 2000 <br />TOPIC: PUBLIC HEARING - Resolution No. 00 - 110, Adopt Assessment <br />Roll, Trapper's Crossing 3rd Addition <br />VOTE REQUIRED: 3/5 Vote Required <br />BACKGROUND: <br />On October 9, 2000, the City Council set the Public Hearing for the proposed <br />assessments for the Trapper's Crossing 3rd Addition project for Monday, <br />November 13, 2000. All necessary notices have been mailed to affected <br />property owners indicating the amount of the assessment and the date of the <br />hearing. <br />The project is substantially complete and can now be assessed. This project <br />involved developer installed improvements. The assessments associated with <br />this project include Sanitary Sewer and Watermain Area and Unit charges, <br />Lateral Utility charges (Bond Fund), and MSA Street assessments from the <br />original assessment to Trapper's Crossing. The assessment roll distributes the <br />original outlot charges from 1996 to the Tots platted as part of the 3rd Addition. <br />Surface Water Management Fees and Wearing Course Costs are also assessed <br />to the individual lots. <br />OPTIONS: <br />1. Return to staff for further review. <br />2. Adopt Resolution No. 00 - 110 adopting the assessment roll for the Trapper's <br />Crossing 3rd project. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends Option No. 2, the adoption of Resolution 00 — 110. <br />
