Mary Kay Wyland
From:
"'Sent:
To:
Cc:
Subject:
Jeff Smyser
Friday, September 29, 2000 9:35 AM
Mary Kay Wyland
John Powell; Marty Asleson
Mueller -Bies
MEMORANDUM
September 29, 2000
to: Mary Kay Wyland
from: Jeff Smyser
subject: Mueller -Biel Site Plan Recommendations from Environmental Board
The Environmental Board made the following recommendations at its 9/27/00 meeting. This is not the exact
wording of the recommendations, which will be in the minutes, but I have the gist of the issues here.
1. Lighting should be directed down on the site.
2. The illuminated sign should not produce glare on the roadway.
3. The OHWL issued should be clarified and properly addressed.
.
4. Clarify that there is no wetland impact.
5. Some visual screening should be added to screen the parking lot from the road, if possible, given the
stormwater swale along the front of the site and the additional road dedication.
6. Native species should be incorporated into the landscaping where possible.
Stormwater design should include infiltration to the greatest extent possible.
•
1
