Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF LINO LAKES RESOLUTION NO. 00 -119 RESOLUTION AMENDING AND RESTATING THE CITY OF LINO LAKES FLEXIBLE HEALTH CARE AND DEPENDENT DAY CARE PLAN EXPENSE REIMBURSEMENT PLAN WHEREAS, the plan was adopted per Resolution No. 78 -90 with the effective date of January 1, 1991, and WHEREAS, the plan was amended and restated per Resolution No. 95 -156 with an effective date of January 1, 1996, and WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes wishes to amend and restate the plan document effective January 1, 2001, to include the Final and Proposed Cafeteria Plan Regulations issued March 23, 2000 clarifying the administration of change in status elections under cafeteria plans, and WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes wishes to amend and restate the plan document effective January 1, 2001, to include the newly proposed Cobra Regulations issued January 1, 2000, and WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes wishes to amend and restate the plan document effective January 1, 2001, to increase the current medical reimbursement coverage from a maximum of $2,000 to a maximum of $3,000 per plan year. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes that the plan document be amended and restated January 1, 2001 to include the following changes: 1. The plan document will include the Final and Proposed Cafeteria Plan Regulations issued March 23, 2000 clarifying the administration of change in status elections under cafeteria plans, and 2. The plan document will include the newly proposed COBRA Regulations issued January 1, 2000, and 3. The plan document will increase the current $2000 medical reimbursement maximum to $3,000 per plan year.
