<br />RESOLUTION NO. 26-105
<br />ACCEPTING QUOTES AND AWARDING CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTS, PUBLIC
<br />WORKS BID PACKAGE 2 REBID QUOTE CATEGORIES
<br />PUBLIC WORKS BUILDING IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
<br />WHEREAS, on May 5, 2026, pursuant to an advertisement for bids and quotes for the
<br />construction of the Public Works Building Improvement Project ("Project"), bids and quotes
<br />were received for Bid Package No. 2, consisting of Building Demolition, Earthwork, Utilities, Site
<br />Furnishings, MEP's and interior and exterior finishes, opened and tabulated according to law,
<br />and
<br />WHEREAS, no bids or quotes were received for Categories 1A Specialty Testing &
<br />Inspections, 6B Casework and Millwork, 11A, Appliances & Equipment, 11C Vehicle Wash
<br />Equipment; and
<br />WHEREAS, on May 27th, 2026 quotes were received for rebid quote Categories 1A
<br />Specialty Testing & Inspections, 6B Casework and Millwork, 11A, and 11C Vehicle Wash
<br />Equipment; and
<br />WHEREAS, the City's construction manager for the Project, RJM Construction, has
<br />completed its review of all the quotes and is recommending that the City award contracts to the
<br />lowest responsible bidder in each category, inclusive of project requirements;
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Lino Lakes, Minnesota that:
<br />1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with
<br />Chosen Valley Testing Inc., in the name of the City of Lino Lakes, for Category 01A, Special
<br />Testing and Inspections, according to the plans and specifications approved by the City
<br />Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk, in the amount of $50,305.00.
<br />2. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with
<br />Willmar Wood Products Inc., in the name of the City of Lino Lakes, for Category 06B,
<br />Casework & Millwork, according to the plans and specifications approved by the City
<br />Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk, in the amount of $106,075.00.
<br />3. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with
<br />Interclean, in the name of the City of Lino Lakes, for Category 11C, Vehicle Wash
<br />Equipment, according to the plans and specifications approved by the City Council and on
<br />file in the office of the City Clerk, in the amount of $113,205.00.
