• <br />• <br />• <br />AGENDA ITEM NO. 3A <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Rick DeGardner, Public Services Director <br />COUNCIL MEETING DATE: January 8, 2001 <br />TOPIC: Consideration of Adopting Final Master Plan — <br />Clearwater Creek Park <br />VOTE REQUIRED: Simple Majority <br />BACKGROUND: <br />In September 1999, the city obtained 5.5 acres of parkland in the Clearwater Creek <br />Third Addition for a neighborhood Park. A meeting was held on November 6, 2000 to <br />allow area residents an opportunity to provide input on what amenities they would like to <br />be considered for Clearwater Creek Park. A follow -up meeting was held on December <br />4, 2000 to look at and comment on some better defined scaled master plans. The Park <br />Board reviewed and discussed the final draft master plan at their January 4, 2001 <br />meeting. <br />Jeff Schoenbauer from Brauer and Associates, is here to present the final master plan <br />for Clearwater Creek Park as well as discuss cost estimates for development of the <br />park. Assuming the final master plan is adopted tonight, this will be our guide as <br />Clearwater Creek Park is developed. <br />OPTIONS: <br />1. Adopt final master plan — Clearwater Creek Park. <br />2. Do not adopt final master plan — Clearwater Creek Park <br />3.
