• <br />AGENDA ITEM 7D <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: John Powell, City Engineer <br />COUNCIL MEETING DATE: May 14, 2001 <br />TOPIC: PUBLIC HEARING — Twilight Acres/Twilight Acres 2nd Addition <br />Sanitary Sewer Improvements <br />VOTE REQUIRED: 3/5 Vote required to close the hearing <br />BACKGROUND: <br />On March 26, 2001, the City Council received a Feasibility Report, and set the <br />Public Hearing, for the installation of sanitary sewer to the Nancy Drive /Vicky <br />Lane neighborhood. This report had been prepared in response to past petitions <br />received from Nancy Drive, and Vicky Lane, area property owners. The previous <br />project which included watermain and complete street reconstruction was <br />terminated. <br />The Feasibility Report which includes construction cost and assessment <br />information will be presented at the Hearing. <br />Per the City Charter, no action will be taken on this project until 60 days after the <br />conclusion of the public hearing. <br />OPTIONS: <br />1. Continue the Public Hearing. <br />2. Close the Public Hearing. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Option No. 2 - Staff recommends closing the public hearing. <br />
