This formula is shown below: <br />Cash <br />Average Land Average Density Contribution <br />Value (year 2001) (2,1 units Baer acrel Per Year <br />$28,000 X 10% = <br />$2,800 T 2.1 = $1,333.00 <br />The proposed park dedication of $1,380 is $47 higher than current collections. The <br />$1,380 was generated by assuming $2,614 per acre for commercial /industrial properties. <br />If the City Council wished to place a greater burden for park land dedication on residential <br />growth, an adjustment may be considered as follows. <br />This adjustment would serve two objectives: (1) The residential growth which stimulates <br />the greater park demand would carry more of the financial responsibility. (2) The lower <br />park charge on commercial /industrial lands will help in economic development efforts. <br />• <br />
