MEETING DATE: <br />TOPIC: <br />AGENDA ITEM 7 B <br />Jeff Smyser <br />June 11, 2001 <br />• SECOND READING: Ordinance 01 -01 <br />Rezoning Lot 13 Block 2 Sunset Oaks to R -1 <br />• SECOND READING: Ordinance 02 -01 <br />Amending Comprehensive Plan to Allocate 2.55 <br />Acres of MUSA Reserve <br />ACTION REQUIRED: 4/5 vote for Ordinance 01 -01 (rezoning) <br />4/5 vote for Ordinance 02 -0 (MUSA reserve) <br />BACKGROUND <br />On May 29, 2001, the City Council approved the first readings of both these ordinances. <br />This will be the second readings of the ordinances. <br />To review, the rezoning ordinance rezones the southernmost portion of Behm's Park to <br />R -1, which will make it consistent with the rest of the park. <br />The MUSA ordinance allocates 2.55 acres of the City's MUSA reserve. This will be <br />allocated to the single - family lots approved on May 29 as the preliminary plat of Behm's <br />Farm Park Addition. <br />Both ordinances are attached. <br />OPTIONS <br />1. Approve the second reading of Ordinance 01 -01. <br />2. Approve the second reading of Ordinance 02 -01. <br />3. Return to staff with direction. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Options 1 and 2 <br />
