• 01 -68 <br />Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption. <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 01 -78 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO ALLOW A TRUCK <br />FREIGHT TRANSFER STATION AT 416 LILAC DRIVE <br />WHEREAS, a request has been submitted to the City for a conditional use permit for a <br />truck freight transfer station at 416 Lilac Drive, and <br />WHEREAS, the legal description of the property is: <br />Lot 5, Block 1, Lino Industry Park <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a public hearing on this application on May <br />9, 2001 and recommended approval. <br />• WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes makes following findings of fact, <br />as required by Section 2 Subd. 2.B.7 and by Section 8 Subd.2.I.8 of the zoning <br />ordinance: <br />• <br />a. This application will not be detrimental to or endanger the public health, safety, <br />comfort, convenience or general welfare of the neighborhood or the City. <br />b. This application will be harmonious with the general and applicable specific plans <br />and policies of the comprehensive plan of the City and this ordinance. <br />c. This application will be designed, constructed, operated, and maintained so as to <br />be harmonious and appropriate in appearance with the existing and /or intended <br />character of the general vicinity and will not change the essential character of <br />that area. <br />d. This application will be served adequately by essential public facilities and <br />services, including streets, police and fire protection, drainage structures, refuse <br />disposal, water and sewer systems, and schools; or will be served adequately by <br />such facilities and services provided by the persons or agencies responsible for <br />the establishment of the proposed use. <br />e. This application will not create excessive additional requirements at public cost <br />for public facilities and services and will not be detrimental to the economic <br />welfare of the community. <br />
