MEETING DATE: June 25, 2001 <br />TOPIC: Second Reading: Ordinance 11 -01 <br />Rezoning Lot 9 For Community National Bank <br />ACTION REQUIRED: 4/5 <br />BACKGROUND <br />The City Council approved the first reading of Ordinance 11 -01 on June 11, 2001. As a <br />reminder, the application is to rezone an existing lot to provide for the expansion of the <br />parking lot for the Community National Bank. The lot currently is zoned Neighborhood <br />Business, which does not allow banks. Rezoning the site to General Business will match <br />the existing bank lot zoning. <br />If the City Council approves the second reading, the ordinance will be published in the <br />newspaper the first week of July. The rezoning will be effective 30 days after <br />publication, as required by the City Charter. <br />OPTIONS <br />1. Approve Ordinance 11 -01 approving the rezoning of Lot 9, Auditor's Subdivision <br />No. 134, from Neighborhood Business to General Business. <br />2.
