Economic Development • ssistant Divine distributed a draft of the letter and preliminary site plan for The Village. She briefly reviewed the site plan noting there have been no changes to the plan. She also reviewed the Letter of Intent in detail that outlines the City responsibilities and development responsibilities, with an accompanying timetable. She indicated staff would like to add the Letter of Intent to the regular Monday Council agenda. She noted the Letter of Intent is not a binding contract. Council Member Reinert asked if the development is contingent upon a second access. Mr. Ross Fefercorn advised there are currently two (2) accesses requested for this development, one at Town Center Parkway and one near 35W ramp. The developer requests an additional access to Lake Drive. It has not yet been determined that an access can be provided at the I -35 (northbound) ramps. The Engineering Department will pursue this request with MnDOT and FHWA.
