• <br />Ordinance No 15 -01 <br />An ordinance amending the Lino Lakes Code by Amending Section 802 Concerning <br />Parking Restrictions <br />The City Council of the City of Lino Lakes ordains: <br />Section 1. Section 802 of the Lino Lakes City Code is amended to read as follows: <br />802 Parking <br />802.1 No person shall temporarily stop or park a motor vehicle on any street when <br />directed to proceed by a police officer, reserve police officer or firefighter while in <br />the performance of official duties. <br />802.2 No vehicle shall be parked on any street, boulevard, public right -of -way or other <br />public property for the purpose of displaying it for sale. No person shall park or <br />allow to be parked more than one vehicle on private property for the purpose of <br />displaying it for sale. The parking of multiple vehicles for sale is only permitted <br />on the property of a business licensed to sell vehicles. <br />III 802.3 No owner of a motor vehicle, trailer, boat, snowmobile, or seasonal vehicle shall <br />leave, park, or permit the same to stand on a city street between the hours of <br />2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. between 1 November and 1 April of the following year, <br />or at any other time when the National Weather Service forecast accumulation is <br />two (2) or more inches of snow until the street or alley has been plowed. <br />Residences without an established driveway, to include new construction, are <br />exempt from winter parking restrictions. At no time shall a vehicle be parked in a <br />manner that interferes with the necessary maintenance of the road including but <br />not limited to snow removal, street sweeping or seal coating. This section shall <br />not apply to emergency vehicles in the performance of official duty nor public <br />utility vehicles while providing service to the residents of Lino Lakes. Temporary <br />exemptions from this section may be granted in advance by contacting a police <br />officer from the Lino Lakes Police Department. <br />802.4 The presence of any vehicle in violation of sections 802.1, 802.2 or 802.3 is <br />prima facie evidence that the registered owner of the vehicle committed or <br />authorized the commission of the violation. <br />802.5 A representative of the Lino lakes Police Department is authorized to have a <br />vehicle in violation of any or all sections 802.1, 802.2 or 802.3 towed to an <br />impound lot. <br />Section 2 This ordinance shall be effective on October 1, 2001 following its passage <br />and publication. <br />
