The expert: e that Officer Silvera will
acquire in Honduras, specifically increased knowledge of the Span lan • age, would be of value to
Lino Lakes as the community continues to diversify.
As this is not a single incumbent position, the plan would e Mac •fficer Silvera when he leaves
this summer. The department would reincorporate hi ,bac , into department when he returns,
given a vacancy exists in 2003. It is assumed that co r[ owth of the community would merit at
least one new officer that year Shawn understa ever, ere are no guarantees.
Council Member O'Donnell moved to agre
leave of absence, as presented. Council
unanimously.
ilvera's request for a twenty seven -month
Reinert seconded the motion.
