MEETING DATE: August 27, 2001 <br />TOPIC: Resolution 01 -121: Final Plat, Spirit Hills <br />ACTION: 3/5 vote <br />BACKGROUND <br />The City Council approved the preliminary plat on June 11 with Resolution 01 -79. The <br />developer has submitted a final plat for approval. <br />The City typically requires a number of things for a final plat approval. These include: <br />• Final plat must substantially conform to the approved preliminary plat. <br />• Development agreement must be completed, including financial securities. <br />• Title must be reviewed by City Attorney. <br />• Conditions of approval must be met. <br />The final plat conforms to the preliminary plat. We have a development agreement. The <br />title has been reviewed by the City Attorney. <br />In addition to the standard conditions, the approval required landscaping/ along the east <br />side of the new Ware Rd. extension and provision of an area for a lift station. Outlot B <br />will be deeded to the City for the lift station. Screening/landscaping along the new road <br />will be included in the project. <br />OPTIONS <br />1. Approve Resolution 01 -121 approving the final plat of Spirit Hills. <br />2. Return to staff with direction. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Option 1 <br />
