AGENDA ITEM 3B(i) <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR Al Rolek <br />DATE September 5, 2001 <br />TOPIC Consideration of adopting the proposed 2002 Operating Budget for <br />the City of Lino Lakes <br />Simple Majority <br />VOTE REQUIRED <br />BACKGROUND <br />Minnesota State Statutes require the City of Lino Lakes to adopt and certify a proposed 2002 <br />operating budget on or before September 15th of each year. <br />The 2002 budget is proposed with a 11.66% increase over the 2001 budget. The City <br />experienced a market value growth of 13.52% over the same period. <br />S The departmental budgets within the proposed budget will be further reviewed by the City Council <br />and staff between September 15th and December 10th, for changes, if needed. <br />• <br />OPTIONS <br />1.
