• <br />• <br />• <br />AGENDA ITEM 7D <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: John Powell, City Engineer <br />COUNCIL MEETING DATE: September 10, 2001 <br />TOPIC: Resolution No. 01 -122, Joint Powers Agreement with Shoreview for <br />Water Service. <br />VOTE REQUIRED: 3/5 Vote Required <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The attached agreement allows Shoreview and Lino Lakes to share the cost of <br />constructing a water meter to measure the flow from Shoreview into the Lino <br />Lakes system. This enables Shoreview to send a single invoice to Lino Lakes <br />for all of the water use. Lino Lakes would then be responsible for sending <br />individual bills to our residents. <br />OPTIONS: <br />1. Return to staff for further review. <br />2. Adopt Resolution No. 01 -122, Approve the Joint Powers Agreement. <br />3. Adopt Resolution No. 01 -122 with revisions. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Option No. 2 - Staff recommends that Resolution No. 01 -122 be adopted. <br />
