• 01 -159 <br />Council Member <br />• <br />• <br />introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption. <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 01-159 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT AMENDMENT TO <br />ALLOW AN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IN A PSP, PUBLIC /SEMI PUBLIC ZONING <br />DISTRICT <br />WHEREAS, an application has been submitted to the City for a conditional use permit <br />amendment to allow an elementary school in a PSP, Public /Semi - Public zoning district, and <br />WHEREAS, the legal description of the property is: <br />[insert legal description here] <br />and <br />WHEREAS, in conjunction with the conditional use permit amendment request, the applicant <br />has also requested site and building plan approval based on the submitted plans, prepared by <br />Armstrong, Torseth, Skold and Rydeen, Inc., dated August 13, 2001 and received by the City on <br />August 13, 2001; and <br />WHEREAS, at their meeting on September 11, 2001, the Planning and Zoning Board conducted <br />a public hearing to consider the application and recommended approval subject to the conditions <br />listed in the meeting minutes; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes makes following findings of fact, as <br />required by Section 2 Subd. 2.B.7 and by Section 9 Subd.1.I.1 of the Zoning Ordinance: <br />Section 2 Subd. 2.B.7 (Conditional Use Permit Standards) <br />The proposed use at the proposed location: <br />a. Will not be detrimental to or endanger the public health, safety, comfort, convenience or <br />general welfare of the neighborhood or the City. <br />b. Will be harmonious with the general and applicable specific plans and policies of the <br />comprehensive plan of the City and this ordinance. <br />c. Will be designed, constructed, operated, and maintained so as to be harmonious and <br />appropriate in appearance with the existing and/or intended character of the general <br />vicinity and will not change the essential character of that area. <br />
