CHAPTER 3. <br />COMMERCIAL, MIXED -USE & <br />CIVIC DISTRICT STANDARDS <br />3.1. ALLOWABLE USES <br />Table 1 indicates allowable land uses, both permitted (P) and conditional (C), in each of the land <br />use Districts designated on the Land Use Plan. Conditional uses are expected to meet special <br />requirements in their design or on -going operation <br />The Mixed -Use, Commercial and Civic Districts predude uses that would likely detract from <br />their compact and pedestrian - friendly character. In Mixed -Use Districts, community- and <br />neighborhood- serving retail stores (such as full- service grocery, drug and hardware stores), <br />entertainment uses, restaurants, and specialty shops are preferred.
