As shown here, minimum height (H) is measured at the tallest point of continuous height; that is, excluding minor projections of parapets, cupolas, or other minor height projections Building Height Minimum Height Where Build -to Lines are shown along the Regulating Plan, street - facing buildings must be at least 20 feet high along the street - facing facade. (In locations wherebuildings are more than 20 feet from build -to lines, buildings do not have to meet this requirement.) Minimum building height is measured relative to the finished grade. As shown in the diagram, minimum height is measured to the highest point of the roof, excluding minor lengths of parapets, cupolas, or other discontinuous projecting features. Continuous parapets or false fronts and peaked or sloped roofs do qualify towards meeting the minimum height. Maximum Height In all locations, the maximum allowable building height is 45 feet, measured at the tallest part of the building. Minor Projections. Minor projections and special architectural features such as clock towers, bell towers, cupolas and ornamental portions of parapet walls may extend up to 10 feet above the maximum height, provided they make up no more than one third of the length of a building's facade.
