Parking Lot Trees. Parking lots shall include shade style shade parking tree planting of <br />at least one tree for every 10 parking stalls. Trees should be protected by curbs. <br />Parking Lot Landscaped Frontages <br />Where parldng lots abut streets, a landscaped frontage shall be provided on the parcel, adjacent <br />to the sidewalk. Landscaped Frontages are also required where parking lots abut Lake Drive or <br />35W. The landscaping shall meet the requirements outlined in Landscaped Frontages in Section <br />3.6 Landscaped Frontages are not required when parking lots are sited behind buildings or <br />plazas. <br />Landscaped Frontages. Where parking lots abut streets, landscaped frontages are required. See the section <br />on Landscape Requirements. <br />Connecting Walkways <br />Across Large Parking Lots. Parking lots shall not exceed 300 spaces without being segmented by <br />Connecting Walkways, Landscaped Frontages, or buildings. <br />Linking Building Entrances to Sidewalks. Where building entries do not abut a street, <br />Connecting Walkways are required to link the building entrance to street sidewalks.
