CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 26-78 <br />ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT, BID PACKAGE <br />NO. 2, BID CATEGORY 08B, SECTIONAL AND SPECIALTY DOORS <br />PUBLIC WORKS BUILDING IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids and quotes for the construction of <br />the Public Works Building Improvement Project ("Project"), bids and quotes were received for <br />Bid Package No. 2, consisting of Building Demolition, Earthwork, Utilities, Site Furnishings, <br />MEP's and interior and exterior finishes, opened and tabulated according to law, and <br />WHEREAS, the bids received in response to the advertisement for the work on these <br />items are in a total amount generally consistent with the planned budget for the overall project; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the City's construction manager for the Project, RJM Construction, has completed its <br />review of all the bids and is recommending that the City award the contract to the lowest <br />responsible bidder, inclusive of project requirements; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Lino Lakes, Minnesota that: <br />The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with <br />Miner Corporation of Lino Lakes, Minnesota, in the name of the City of Lino Lakes, for <br />Category 08B, Sectional and Specialty Doors, according to the plans and specifications <br />approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk, in the amount of <br />$346,000.00. <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the Bid <br />Bonds made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next <br />lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed. <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 11th day of May, 2026. <br />-I , fl- •11, <br />Rob Ot'afferty, Mayor <br />Roberta Colotti, CIVIC, City Clerk <br />
