• <br />• <br />In summary, the growth of the community has and will continue to require additional <br />staff resources in order to maintain, at a minimum, the present level of services. The <br />Police Department, as well as all other departments presently have or will have staffing <br />needs in the near future, which will need to be accommodated within future budgets. The <br />recent 16% annual increase in taxable market value represents new revenue to fund <br />necessary additional staff positions. The decision on accepting these grants and <br />committing to hire additional staff needs to be made in context of our future growth, <br />other staffing needs within the organization, and increased future revenues from an <br />increasing tax base. <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />1.
