• <br />• <br />• <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MEETING DATE: <br />TOPIC: <br />ACTION REQUIRED: <br />BACKGROUND <br />AGENDA ITEM 61 <br />Michael Grochala <br />June 14, 2004 <br />Consideration of Resolution No. 04 -83 <br />Accepting Feasibility Report on Improvements, <br />and Calling for Hearing on Improvements <br />Legacy at Woods Edge <br />Simple Majority <br />The City Council authorized preparation of a Feasibility Study for the Woods Edge <br />Improvements on March 22, 2004. Short, Elliott, Hendrickson, Inc., (SEH), the City's <br />consulting engineer has completed the report and will be presenting its findings at the <br />council meeting. <br />The proposed project includes the reconstruction and new construction of sanitary <br />sewer, storm sewer, water main, streets, streetscaping, sidewalks within the <br />development as well as proposed improvements to Lake Drive. The estimated cost of <br />the improvement is $8,382,000. The proposed improvements will service the proposed <br />Hartford Group development as well as the YMCA. <br />Staff is recommending approval of Resolution No. 04 -83 which accepts the feasibility <br />study and calls for a hearing on improvements. <br />ATTACHMENTS <br />1.
