• <br />• <br />• <br />WS -3 <br />WORK SESSION STAFF REPORT <br />Work Session Item No. 3 <br />Date: Council Work Session, Wednesday, July 7, 2004 <br />City Council Meeting, Monday, July 12, 2004 <br />To: City Council <br />From: Ann Blair, City Clerk <br />Re: Blue Heron Days Update <br />In reviewing our checklist of items which need Council action prior to the upcoming <br />"Blue Heron Days" festival, the parade permit application and the 5K run permit <br />application are on Monday night's Council agenda. <br />You will notice that there is an event in conjunction with the parade, the "Chili Dog <br />Mile" which has a separate entry form. This does not require any additional road <br />closings so, it is being incorporated into the parade request, as it goes along the same <br />route. <br />As recent handouts provided to the Council indicate, the festival is taking shape and a <br />draft schedule of events has been completed. I Would like Council direction as to <br />addressing requests for non -food vending items through a City- issued permit process. <br />
