• <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 04 -106 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT — <br />HOLLY DRIVE IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT. <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the construction of the Holly Drive <br />Improvements Project, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the <br />following bids were received complying with the advertisement: <br />Contractor Amount of Bid <br />W.B. Miller, Inc. $824,186.70 <br />Arcon Construction $856,275.56 <br />Central Landscaping $926,219.05 <br />Forest Lake Contracting $952,664.70 <br />Three Rivers Construction $968,701.37 <br />Dresel Contracting $972,882.20 <br />Jay Bros., Inc. $993,456.60 <br />Glenn Rehbein Excavating $996,615.50 <br />Engineer's Estimate $911,004.00 <br />AND WHEREAS, it appears that W.B. Miller, Inc. is the lowest responsible bidder; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LINO <br />LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with W.B. <br />Miller, Inc., in the name of the City of Lino Lakes for the construction of the Holly Drive <br />Improvements Project according to the plans and specifications approved by the City <br />Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk. <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the <br />deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next <br />lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 26th day of July 2004. <br />Ann J.
