CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 04-125 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PARKS, NATURAL OPEN <br />SPACE /GREENWAYS AND TRAIL SYSTEM PLAN <br />WHEREAS, Staff has been working since last fall with our planning consultant on <br />preparing/compiling information for the Parks, Natural Open Space /Greenways and Trail System <br />Plan. <br />AND WHEREAS, The purpose of this project is to tie together various plans into a cohesive, <br />consistent, and complementary vision of the future. <br />AND WHEREAS, The plan also focuses on development implementation strategies in order to <br />make the plan a reality. <br />AND WHEREAS, After several meetings with the City Council, Park Board, Environmental <br />Board and Planning and Zoning Board, as well as an Open House on June 7', the Parks, Natural <br />Open Space /Greenways and Trail System Plan is ready for approval and implementation. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LINO <br />LAKES, MINNESOTA:, That the City Council hereby approves the Parks, Natural Open <br />Space /Greenways and Trail System Plan prepared by Brauer and Associates, dated August, <br />2004. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 23'd day of August, 2004. <br />Mayor John Bergeson <br />Ann Blair, Clerk- Treasurer <br />
