• <br />AGENDA ITEM 1B <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Jean Viger, Deputy Clerk <br />DATE: August 13, 2004 <br />TOPIC: Consider Application for a Block Party on Red Hawk Trail, <br />PineRidge <br />VOTE REQUIRED: Simple Majority (3/5 Vote) <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The attached application was submitted to the City of Lino Lakes as a request to hold a <br />block party on Red Hawk Trail. Red Hawk Trail would be barricaded from the <br />intersection of Red Hawk Trail and Lonesome Pine Trail. (See attached map) Also <br />included as part of the application is a signed petition from property owners living on that <br />portion of the cul -de -sac. The petition acknowledges they have been notified and consent <br />or do not object to the block party. These property owners are indicated by the slant <br />marks on the map. <br />The party is planned for Friday, September 24, 2004 starting at 5:00 p.m. and ending at <br />10:00 p.m. The police department and the streets division of the public services <br />department have been notified of the party. If approved, public works will provide the <br />barricades. <br />In the past, the city has encouraged block parties as they are generally a family event and <br />present an opportunity for neighbors to get acquainted. <br />OPTIONS: <br />1.
