• <br />• <br />• <br />WS -2 <br />WORK SESSION STAFF REPORT <br />Work Session Item No. 2 <br />i <br />Date: Council Work Session, Wednesday, October 6, 2004 <br />To: City Council <br />From: Mary Divine <br />Re: Legacy at Woods Edge <br />Steve Bubul from Kennedy & Graven will be attending to discuss the major points of the <br />development contract between the City/EDA and Hartford Group for the Legacy at <br />Woods Edge project. He will have a summary available that will be forwarded to the <br />Council before the work session on Wednesday. <br />In response to council discussions regarding housing, the developer has committed to the <br />following: <br />Total number of units: 450 <br />Total number of owner occupied units (60 %): 270 <br />Total number of rental units (40 %: 180 <br />Total number of affordable units (20 %): 90 <br />Total number of owner occupied affordable (36 %): 30 <br />Total number of renter occupied affordable (67 %): 60 <br />Total minimum senior units (13 %): 60 <br />The developers are continuing to work on a variety of senior housing alternatives, <br />including condominiums, cooperative housing, assisted living and rental. <br />
