It is truly
profane for city leaders to circumvent the peoples' will by calling the development a "conservation
development" Calling a duck a turkey does not make it fit for Thanksgiving dinner. It is quite obvious
that the developer is trying to avoid an environmental impact study by proposing a number of units just
under the minimum to make the study mandatory. We strongly suggest that the city order the
environmental impact study and reconsider the vision of filling every open space in Lino Lakes with
developments as rapidly as possible. City leaders should abide by the growth limits that are on the
books.
Sincerely,
Fredrick W.
