• <br />Anoka County Multi- Jurisdictional <br />All Hazards Mitigation Plan <br />5.2.7 Mitigation Actions Implementation <br />Despite the diligence of the Mitigation Committee in completing the STAPLEE Criteria form, <br />scores for many goal actions were identical, and provided little help in assigning priority. This <br />form did allow the committee a thorough dissection of each goal action, and prompted the <br />elimination of some goals. After long discussion, the Committee assigned planned <br />implementation dates based on the following rationale: <br />Regardless of numerical priority ranking, early <br />implementation dates are assigned to those actions <br />needed to serve as a foundation upon which to build other <br />actions. <br />Also assigned early implementation dates are those <br />actions leading to maintaining eligibility for current grant <br />funding, as well as those which will promote acquisition of <br />new funding sources. <br />44 CFR Requirement <br />201.6(c)(3)(iii): The mitigation <br />strategy shall include an action <br />plan describing how the actions <br />identified in paragraph (c)(2)(ii) of <br />this section will be prioritized, <br />implemented, and administered by <br />the local jurisdiction. <br />Citizen education is a goal in every hazard category.
