Anoka County Multi- Jurisdictional All Hazards Mitigation Plan Anoka County Hazard Mitigation Plan Certification I, Terry Stoltzman, Emergency Management Director for the County of Anoka, State of Minnesota, do hereby certify that public involvement and input regarding the Anoka County Multi- Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan was carried out in accordance with Plan requirements and in accordance with local policy and ordinance. I further certify that public notification was given and public input was sought, during the planning process and preceding adoption of the Anoka County Multi- Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan by the jurisdictional governments in Anoka County, by placing notice to the public in the Anoka County Union or Anoka County Shopper on July 9, 2004; July 27, 2005; May 12, 2006, in accordance with the open meetings laws of Minnesota, and that citizens had ample opportunity for input during Plan development. I further certify that public meetings were held at Lino Lakes City Hall on July 19, 2004, the Ham Lake City Hall on July 20, 2004, the Coon Rapids City Hall on July 22, 2004, Andover Fire Station No. 1 on July 27, 2004, the City of Anoka Public Safety Center on July 28, 2005 and May 19, 2006, to solicit citizen comment and input into the Anoka County Multi- Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan. I further certify that copies of jurisdictional Board or Council meeting minutes, kept in accordance with Minnesota law, regarding approval and adoption of the Anoka County Multi- Jurisdictional Hazard Mitigation Plan are on file and available to members of the public, and local, state, and federal agencies. Inspection of these minutes may be made upon reasonable request to the respective jurisdictional authority. This certification is in accordance with provisions of the Disaster Mitigation Act of 2000 (44 CFR 201.6 and NCGS 62A).
